.2" Detailed Fossil Feather and Leaves - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a .2" long fossil feather from the Eocene aged Green River Formation of Utah. Two leaf (Cardiospermum coloradensis & Cedrelospermum nervosum) fossils can be seen next to the small feather and large horsetail stem Equisetum winchesteri can be found on the opposite side of the plate. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse fauna and flora.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
