4.4" Fossil Insect (Robber Fly, Crane Flies & Flies) Mortality Plate

This is a 4.4" wide piece of shale featuring a mixture of complete and incomplete insects including crane flies, flies, and a Robber fly. The specimen was collected from the Green River Formation of Utah. While the Green River Formation is best know for its fish fossils, other areas produce incredible fossil insect fauna.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
