3.1" Fossil Ant and Leaf Plate - Green River Formation
This is a detailed, .3" long fossil ant (family Formicidae) preserved alongside a partial leaf, collected from the Green River Formation of Utah. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora variety and insect fauna.
