3.2" Fossil Running Rhino (Hyracodon) Jaw Section - South Dakota

This is a 3.2" wide jaw (mandible) section of Hyracodon nebraskensis. It was collected from the the Brule Formation in South Dakota and would be approximately 30-34 million years old. There are three beautifully preserved teeth still embedded in the jaw and a putty has been placed around the outward facing portion of the jaw for stability.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
