Killer Russian Ammonite (Deshayesites) Association
This is a stunning association of five lower Cretaceous ammonite fossils from the Volga River region of Russia. The larger ones are of the genus Deshayesites, and the largest is 2 inches across. These ammonites are mounted in their original Argyllite which has been artistically sculpted and polished so that it displays very aesthetically with or without the included display stand. It is Lower Cretaceous, Aptian Stage, or approximately 120 million years old.
