4" Extremely Rare Acanthopyge Haueri Trilobite - Mrakib, Morocco

This is an EXTREMELY RARE Acanthopyge haueri trilobite from Mrakib, Morocco. It is the only example of the species we've ever had for sale I think only the third I've seen available in the past decade. There is a somewhat similar looking species of Acanthopyge, which will still very rare is much more often seen than this one.

This specimen is at 4" long, as like nearly all lichid trilobites that you see has some disarticulation in the thorax. The left genal spine has been composited and there is about 5-10% shell restoration in total, primarily along a repaired crack through it's tail. Don't wait on this one, given the rarity we might not have another example of this species available in the future.
