6.6" Polished Archean Laminar Stromatolite Section - Montana
This is a 6.6" wide laminar stromatolite section from the Ruby Range near Dillon, Montana. It has been cut flat on one side and polished to a glossy finish. It's from the Archean Eon with an age of approximately 3.1 billion years, making it one of the oldest stromatolites available.
