This is a 6.4 x 4.8" section of sandstone containing a very detaile, fossil seed fern (Cyclopteris orbicularis) fossil from the Pennsylvanian-aged Tonganoxie Sandstone of Kansas. There is a rare, unidentified fossil cone also present on the piece.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
