7.7" Mioplosus Fossil Fish - Wyoming
This is a nice example one of the scarce fossil fish from the Green River Formation, Mioplosus labracoides. It's 7.7" long and many details can be seen including the fins, back bone and skull. It has nice, dark preservation and is nicely centered on a thick slab of shale. There is one repaired crack running through the rock. Really a nice specimen.
It comes with an acrylic display stand.
