8.7" Fossil Fish Jaw and Bones in Rock - Asfla, Morocco

This 8.7" wide plate of rock contains a fossil fish jaw section and what appears to be fish skull and fin elements, collected from the Upper Cretaceous Akrabou Formation near Asfla, Goulmima, Morocco. This location was discovered in the 1990's and not much is known about the material coming out of the area to properly identify this piece.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.

There are multiple repaired cracks through the middle of the specimen.
