8" Mioplosus From Green River - Uncommon Species

This is a beautiful example of one of the more uncommon fish from the Green River Formation, Mioplosus labracoides. It is 8" in length and nicely centered on a 12x10 inch pieces of natural matrix. The specimen displays great preservation with highly detailed with the bone structure, vertebrae and fins. There is some restoration and repair near the bottom of the fish and to the matrix. The plate comes with a display stand.
