.85 Inch Labiostria Westropi, McKay Group, BC

Here is an averaged size Labiostria westropi trilobite from the Upper Cambrian, McKay Group of British Columbia. Most trilobites including this one from the locality are preserved inside of calcite nodules which can be split open. This specimen displays the characteristic long pleural spines and small fan-tail of the species.
