.95" Detailed, Jurassic Brittle Star (Palaeocoma) - England

This is a beautifully preserved fossil brittle star (Palaeocoma egertoni) juvenile, collected from the Bridport Sands (Middle Lias) of Dorset, England. It is Lower Jurassic in age, or approximately 200 million years old. Its been prepared using air abrasives to expose the wonderful detail, and is centered on a slab of limestone. It's about .95" wide and would be wider if the arms were outstretched.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
