Beautiful, 2.76" Serrated Megalodon Tooth - Lee Creek, NC

This is a killer Megalodon tooth from Lee Creek Mine near North Carolina which has been closed to collecting for years. Even when open, complete Megalodon teeth in good condition like this one were rare finds. This 2.76" specimen is gorgeous, glossy enamel coloration and good serrations. It comes with an acrylic display stand. Don't miss this collector quality tooth from a now closed location. This tooth came from an old collection and what I believe is the collecting date is written in pen on the right root lobe. The writing can probably easily be removed with acetone.

Some people might consider this a Carcharocles chubutensis tooth (ancestor to Megalodon) as there is a slight appearance of cusps on the corners of the blade.
