Beautiful Hollardops Trilobite

This is a nicely prepared example of the Middle Devonian trilobite Hollardops mesocristata, often incorrectly referred to as a Metacanthina. The preparation work on this one is far nicer than the typical "moroccan style" preparation work commonly available. There is no major restoration and the fine surface detail including the many eye facets can easily be seen. This a lovely specimen of Hollardops.
