Beautiful Russian Deshayesites Ammonite

This is a pair of beautiful ammonite fossils, the large one of the genus Deshayesites. They are Lower Cretaceous in age and are collected in the Volga Region of Russia. Within the Argyllite concretion there are two ammonites in a debris field of ammonite fragments. Much of the "Mother of Pearl", Iridescent shell is retained. A gorgeous piece at a great price. It comes with an acrylic display stand.
