Detailed Fossil Beetles (Coleoptera) - Green River Formation, Utah
This is a plate of shale containing two fossil beetles (order Coleoptera), one of which has spread wings/elytra, collected from the Green River Formation in Utah. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.
