Detailed Fossil Spider (Aranea) & Wasp (Chalcidoidea) In Baltic Amber
This 44 million year old piece of baltic amber contains two preserved fossil insects; a spider (order Aranea) and a wasp (order Hymenoptera, superfamily Chalcidoidea). The spider is about 1.5mm wide.
As a reminder, most inclusions in baltic amber are extremely small so magnification will be needed to make out much detail. Included with your order is a physical photo of the specimen, and we will also email you a high resolution digital copy.
