Detailed Fossil Wasp (Hymenoptera) and Mite (Acari) in Baltic Amber
This is a nicely detailed 44 million year old fossil Wasp (order Hymenoptera) and mite (subclass Acari) preserved in Baltic amber. The length of the wasp is about 4.5mm.
