Detailed Fossil Winged Aphid and Two Flies in Baltic Amber
This 44 million year old piece of baltic amber contains a fossil winged aphid (order Hemiptera) and two flies (order Diptera - family Dolichopodidae). The largest fly measures about 3.5mm long.
