Double Kayserops From Oued Ghris - New Species

This is a spectacularly prepared, double specimen of a new species of Kayserops trilobite from Bou Lachrhal, Morocco. To my knowledge this species has not yet been named but comes from the same beds as the Kayserops (Comura) megaspina.

The larger specimen on the plate is about 2 1/4" long and has been prepared so that most of the spines are free standing and it flies above the rock. The second specimen is arched over with free-standing genal spines. Great shell detail on both specimens and the only restoration is some minor shell touchups (<1%)
