Exceptionally Preserved Parahomalonotus Trilobite - 1.7"

This is a pretty uncommon trilobite from Ouad Ghriss, Morocco, the smooth shelled Parahomalonotus planus. This one is 1.7" in length, but the preservation is exceptional. The shell of these trilobites has a tendency to flake pretty badly when the rock is broken during collection so most have significant shell restoration. This specimen is a beauty with very nice shell and only a tiny bit of restoration. It looks almost like it's ready to crawl right off of the rock.
