Exquisite Double Basseiarges Trilobite - Jorf, Morocco

This is a gorgeous double specimen of a rarely seen trilobite from Jorf, Morocco, Basseiarges mellishae. The shell preservation from this recently discovered (within the past several years) locality is very distinctive. Basseiarges is a fairly rare trilobite and this is a natural double specimen. Both specimens are .9" long which seems to be about average size for the species.

There preservation and preparation work on this piece is fantastic.
