Fossil Flies, Mites And A Partial Centipede In Baltic Amber

These are beautifully detailed, 44 million year old fossil flies (order Diptera), two mites (subclass Acari) and a partial centipede (clade Chilopoda) preserved in Baltic Amber.

As a reminder, most inclusions in this amber are extremely small so magnification will be needed to make out much detail. Included with your order is a physical photo of the specimen, and we will also email you a high resolution digital copy.

Please note, the market is flooded with fake amber, often plastic with insects embedded in them. In fact the majority of amber I see sold on the internet is not real. If you see something that looks too good to be true, often it is. Only buy amber from reputable dealers.
