Fossil Spider (Araneae) and Two Flies (Diptera) in Baltic Amber
This is a detailed, 44 million year old fossil spider (order Araneae) and two flies (order Diptera) preserved in Baltic amber. This spider is by far the largest specimen we've seen, measuring about 12mm wide.
As a reminder, most inclusions in Baltic amber are extremely small so magnification will be needed to make out much detail. Included with your order is a physical photo of the specimen, and we will also email you a high resolution digital copy.
