Large Cretaceous Leidyosuchus Tooth In Matrix

Here is a nicely preserved anterior tooth of the Upper Cretaceous alligatoroid Leidyosuchus sternbergi. The tooth has nice enamel and is attached to some of the original matrix. It's an inch in length which is large for Leidyosuchus. It comes from the Hell Creek Formation in Carter County, Montana.
