Large Metacanthina (Asteropyge) Trilobite

This is a large example of the trilobite, Metacanthina issoumourensis often referred to as an "Asteropyge" or “Kayserops”. The dark colored shell contrasts nicely against the light colored rock. The eye facets and and shell detail can easily been seen. The only restoration is to touchup some surface scratches and dings from preparation.
