Serrated Fossil Great White Shark Tooth - 1.81"

This is a good sized, fossil Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) tooth. It comes from the Hawthorn Formation in South Carolina which is Miocene in age. These fossil great white teeth are much rarer than the Megalodon teeth which they are associated with. Like most fossil Great White teeth, the root is heavily eroded.
