Serrated Fossil Great White Shark Tooth - 1.84"

This is a nice 1.84" long, fossil Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) tooth. It comes from the Pungo River Formation in South Carolina which is Miocene in age. The serrations are still sharp along the edge of the blade. These fossil great white teeth are much rarer than the Megalodon teeth which they are associated with. It has a well preserved root unlike most fossil Great White teeth where the root is heavily eroded or missing.
