Tiny, Serrated, 1" Baby Megalodon Tooth - Maryland

This is one of the smallest Megalodon teeth I've seen. It 1" in length it would have come from a baby. It comes from the Calvert Formation of Maryland. Megalodon teeth from this area are typically very small as it likely represented a nursery area. Although there is a tiny bit of feeding wear on the tip, the tooth is in overall great shape, and has many beautifully preserved serrations.
