Three Cyphaspis Trilobites With Kayserops - Mrakib, Morocco

This is a beautiful cluster of trilobites from the Bou Dib Formation near Mrakib, Morocco. There are three Cyphaspis walteri along with a Kayserops located on the 5.6 x 4.5" limestone. Nice preparation with only about 3% restoration in total.

This species of Cyphaspis is sometimes referred to as the "Devil Horn" Cyphaspis for obvious reasons. This species was finally formally described in 2014. A link to the paper can be found below.
