Rare Kierarges Morrisoni Trilobites - Morocco

Note: Originally was listed as an undescribed Asaphid but it was pointed out to me that it was recently described in a Spanish publication in 2014

This is a pair of Asaphid trilobites of two different species from the Upper Fezouata Formation in the Zagora region of Morocco. The larger specimen with the elongated pygidium is the recently described Kierarges morrisoni (paper linked below). Both specimens display a reddish coloration, very typical of the Fezouata Formation which is caused by the oxidization of iron pyrite which originally replaced the shell of the trilobites.
