Two Oligocene Fossil Leaves - France

This is a 5.9" plate containing leaf fossils of Daphnogene (Cinnamomum) lanceolatum (longest 3.1") and a Berchemia species, collected from the Oligocene-aged deposits of Bois d'Asson, France. The light-brown preservation contrasts nicely against rock. This is part of an old collection that we recently acquired.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
