EUDIALYTE FOR SALE

Eudialyte is an uncommon ore of zirconium and the titular member of the cyclosilicate, eudialyte group. Eudialyte is a minor gemstone, but this is very rare because eudialyte often forms small, unstable crystals. It’s name translates to, “well decomposable” in Greek, which is an allusion to its solubility in acids. These crystals tend to form as glassy, purple crystals that lean into the magenta portion of the spectrum. Their rarity and attractive coloring make them extremely collectable and valuable. The exact chemical composition of eudialyte is hard to pin down because of its rarity and how closely related the group members are. This mineral is often collected in the rough and associated with aegirine and calcite crystals. This contrasting association makes polished specimens extremely visually appealing and highly sought after.
