About Goshenite
Goshenite is the rare, colorless variety of beryl, the same mineral family that includes emerald and aquamarine. Its clear appearance comes from the absence of trace elements that create other beryl colors. Goshenite forms in hexagonal crystals, often as sharp, six-sided prisms with a bright glassy luster. Found in granitic pegmatites, notable sources include Brazil, Pakistan, Madagascar, and the United States. With a hardness of 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale, it is durable and sometimes faceted as a gemstone. Collectors value goshenite for its purity, clarity, and elegant natural crystal form.
