1.85" Yellow Bladed Barite Crystal Cluster - Peru
This is a wonderful specimen composed of glass-clear, yellow bladed barite crystals in matrix. The crystals are in great condition and were collected from the Department of Huánuco in Peru. This specimen has been mounted with mineral tack for museum-quality display.
About Barite (Baryte)
Barite is a barium sulfate mineral (BaSO₄) known for its high specific gravity, which makes it unusually heavy for a non-metallic mineral.
