This is a purple amethyst geode from the famous mines near Artigas, Uruguay. This geode has a very nice calcite crystal just inside the right side of the geode. The geode is 10.6" wide, 8.7" tall, 8.6" deep and weighs 21.5 lbs. It sits up nicely for display on a flat surface.

We import our material directly from the mines in Artigas, Uruguay and it is much darker, higher quality material than you normally see for sale.
