11.5" Top Quality Purple Amethyst Geode - Artigas, Uruguay
This is a spectacular purple amethyst geode from the famous mines near Artigas, Uruguay. Really nice color in this specimen. The outer surface of the basalt has been smoothed and the "rind" has been. polished to a glossy finish to show of the interesting underlying agate formations. At 11.5" wide, this huge geode is sure to turn heads!
