This is a cavernous, high quality, amethyst geode from the famous mines near Artigas, Uruguay. It's 14.2" tall and 14" wide, weighing 63 lbs. It has a deep pocket of glimmer, violet amethyst crystals along with some clear calcite crystals near the back. The bottom of the rock has been cut flat so that it displays beautifully. Truly an impressive display piece.

We import directly from the mines in Artigas, Uruguay and the material is much higher quality than the more frequently seen amethyst from Brazil.

Due to the size/weight this piece will ship in a custom wooden crate, so please allow for a few extra days for us to prepare the shipment.
