This is a large, museum quality, dark, amethyst crystal cluster on a custom metal stand. The cluster itself is 20.8" tall and 12.6" wide and is full of high quality, extra dark crystals. On the stand the entire display is 29" tall. A top quality amethyst piece, and a stunning display. This amethyst is much higher quality than the amethyst typically available from Brazil and we import it directly from the mines in Uruguay, offering us to offer the best pricing around.
About Uruguay Amethyst
Though Brazil produces a greater volume of amethyst, the material from the Artigas region of Uruguay is renowned for its exceptional depth of color and superb crystal quality. Uruguayan amethyst typically forms in dense basalt flows and develops into richly saturated, grape-purple crystals that are considered some of the finest in the world.
