This is a druzy amethyst crystal cluster from the famous mines near Artigas, Uruguay. It features many shimmering amethyst crystals and comes with a removable wood base that it sits in for display. The edges of this amethyst formation have been polished to reveal the stunning deep mineral formations.
About Uruguay Amethyst
Though Brazil produces a greater volume of amethyst, the material from the Artigas region of Uruguay is renowned for its exceptional depth of color and superb crystal quality. Uruguayan amethyst typically forms in dense basalt flows and develops into richly saturated, grape-purple crystals that are considered some of the finest in the world.
