Patagonia agate is a colorful variety of agate that comes out of the Chubut Province of Patagonia, Argentina. Most specimens feature pastel red, pink, orange, yellow, and white banding, but colors can vary into greens and purples in some instances. These agates come from the same administrative division (department) as the highly prized crater agates that are known for their characteristic red-black coloration and intense green fluorescence.
