4" Cobaltoan Calcite Druzy Crystal Specimen- Morocco

This is an incredibly beautiful cobaltoan calcite specimen that's covered in a carpet of microscopic cobaltocalcite crystals. Very little matrix remains, leaving the specimen with a pink display, all around. The formation of this specimen looks to have gone through multiple processes of rhombohedral crystal formation, while first forming larger rhombohedral corner-point projections from the natural matrix beneath. Afterwards, forming a layer of microscopic rhombohedral crystals, superficial to the large crystals below.
