5" Sparkly Deep-Purple Amethyst Geode - Uruguay
This is a gorgeous amethyst geode collected from the famed amethyst mines near Artigas, Uruguay. It has a deep crystal pocket with top-quality, grape jelly colored crystals. There is a small section of hematite included quartz over calcite at one edge. The "rind" around the crystal pocket has been polished to a glossy finish, showing off the interesting underlying agate formations.
