5.7" Plate Of Hematoid (Ferruginous) Quartz - Morocco

This is a gorgeous plate of deep red, Hematoid or Ferruginous quartz from Tinejdad, Morocco. The plate is good sized a 5.7" across and the crystals display much better terminations and richer color than is typically seen. The red coloration is natural and due to hematite or limonite inclusions within the crystals themselves.
