This is a 5" long polished skull made from hamine jasper collected in India. The craftsmanship on this skull is excellent, with the zygomatic arch, mandible and nasal cavities fully rendered.

Hamine jade, also known as "hami jade" or "hamine jasper", is the trade name for a unique form of jasper. It often features spots of green heavily peppered throughout a white base matrix. There is debate as to whether this is a tree agate or a formation of grossular garnets within a milky white variety of chalcedony (jasper).
