This is a beautiful druzy quartz geode section from the amethyst mines near Artigas, Uruguay. The crystals have a lovely green coloration as a result of the underlying rock and green mineral inclusions within the quartz/agate. The stalactitic formations and edges ("rind") have been polished to a glossy finish.

The included custom metal display stand makes for a very aesthetic display.
