Cluster of Fluorescent Zircon Crystals in Matrix - Colorado
This beautiful specimen contains chocolate-brown zircon crystals that are still partially embedded in their natural matrix. It was collected from St Peters Dome, Colorado, and displays a stunning yellow fluorescence under short wave UV lighting! There is a red fluorescent mineral that makes up some of the matrix, likely feldspar. The cluster of zircon crystals is 1.1" wide.
