This is a large and beautiful purple amethyst geode from the famous mines near Artigas, Uruguay. It is 10.6" wide, 9.3" tall, 7.3" deep and weighs just over 28 lbs. It's filled with sparkling, purple amethyst crystals and the edge of the geode opening has been polished to a mirror-like finish.

We import our material directly from the mines in Artigas, Uruguay and it is much darker, higher quality material than you normally see for sale.
