About Madagascar Blue Calcite
Blue calcite from Madagascar is a soothing, pastel-blue variety of calcite prized for its soft translucence and cloud-like banding. It is primarily mined in the Atsimo-Andrefana and Analamanga regions, where thick limestone deposits have undergone extensive alteration by mineral-rich fluids.
